WHAT | YMCA Indian programs are about parent and child having fun together, learning more about each other and sharing new experiences. Parents and children form tribes which meet bi-weekly, with each tribe setting their own meeting day and time. Activities - like crafts, games, songs, stories, outings, camping and Indian lore - encourage mutual understanding, love and respect for each other. American Indian lore provides a common interest for both parent and child as well as an exciting theme for activities, projects and special events. |
